Position Summary

The Fundamental HRIM and Payroll Services Department is a team dedicated to serving their customers timely and with the highest level of accuracy possible. All positions within the department are required to practice a high level of customer service with results based processing.

Posted Salary Range

USD $22.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the daily payroll processing of complex long-term care facilities in addition to being facility support. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Processing approximately 25 LTC facilities.
  • File maintenance for approximately 2500 employees including new hires, taxes, terms, direct deposit, etc.
  • Ensure that all paperwork has the proper approvals.
  • Run necessary reports from Kronos and PeopleSoft.
  • Update and reconcile Kronos transmissions for each facility assigned.
  • Validate time reconciliation reports against Payroll Summary submitted by facility.
  • Communicate with facility about corrections and/or changes that are needed.
  • Union dues processing and payments.
  • Reconcile all hours, benefits, deductions, taxes to ensure payroll balances.
  • Process all historical edits/special check requests as submitted.
  • Initiate all stop payment requests and/or direct deposit returns.
  • Monitor and validate PTO and Extended Illness usage – report discrepancies.
  • Communicate to each facility the standard policy and procedures in place.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all facility processing – meeting deadlines and full balancing of hours and dollars.
  • Process and run standard reports upon request from facilities.
  • Audit and review of all data, calculations and processing related to Payroll, HR Data, Payroll Taxes, Deductions, Earnings and Direct Deposit.
  • Document filing for facilities and preparation for off-site storage.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Reliable transportation required
